From Paul Tumey: Garret Price wrote and drew White Boy (1933 - 36), one of the best of the American Newspaper comics. It was a comic about American Indians that was sympathetic to their culture. His breakdowns were gorgeous and his stories were wholly absorbing. Price was also a great magazine gag cartoonist. His style was simple, but profound.
Kevin Huizenga has some examples of White Boy on his site. THANKS PAUL!
