Cartoon Simple

Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius—and a lot of courage—to move in the opposite direction. —E. F. Schumacker

Poetic simplicity in cartoons, comics, drawings, paintings

Simple cartoon. Simple drawing. Simple painting. Simple comics.
To be simple is to aim for what is vital. A few simple lines can make you cry, make you laugh, jolt you awake, take your breath away.

In an age of obsessive computer-generated inconsequential detail, let us remember the beauty and power of poetic simplicity.
All material is copyright by the artists. Please notify me if you want your work removed. No money is being made by me on this site. It is a labor of love. When possible, I do link to places where work by an artist can be purchased. If you prefer for me to link to another URL, let me know.

You can contact me at: trickcoin at gmail dot com, or just leave a comment - I read them all. Thanks!
